LOVE.Tunes| Wish!

About a week ago I came across a video while checking out Necole Bitchie's Blog, and i couldn't help but to tell someone else about it. It comes from a dope artist out of Baltimore named Wish. As soon as the song began, I fell in love. Her voice is amazing and her style is edgy with a splash of glamor. The video totally gave me I Love Lucy meets Fashion Avenue.

SN: The guy in the video is a HOTTIE...I'm a sucker for boys with tattoos! ;-)

Natural Beauty

It is very rare that you come across someone with undeniable natural beauty. Someone with so much simplicity, yet they have the power to walk in a room and completely own it! Well, Wilhelmina model Melodie Monrose is just that, a natural beauty! She's an eighteen year old Caribbean girl who's been seen strutting her stuff down the runways for S/S 2011. I'm sure we'll see a lot more of her in the near future.

Turban Chic

Me!

Luxury labels such as Prada and Fendi graced the runways with turban inspired head wraps back in 2007, but it wasn't until recently that I began spotting numerous celebrities in this chic yet simple trend. Whether you're having a bad hair day or you simply want to add a little FAB to your weekend denim and t-shirt, a turban is a sure way to pull your outfit together.

Home Edition: Holly GoGrandma?

Since i could remember, my Grandmother has had impeccable taste when it comes to interior design. I recently went to visit her in her NYC apartment, which totally gave me "Holly Golightly" in one of my favorites Breakfast at Tiffany's. The mixture of bold prints and statement pieces such as vintage mirrors and a feather trimmed lamp are all you need to pull things together.

Bling My Boo-Boo!

Even fab people get a "boo-boo" every once in a blue. Whether its a paper cut from flipping through the pages of the latest issue of Bazaar or from a new pair of shoes that haven't quite been broken in. Thanks to designer Cynthia Rowley even our bandage can make a statement. Each limited edition Band-Aid tin contains 20 assorted bandage styles, available for $10. One dollar from the sale of each will go to help Design Ignites Change, an organization that works with high school and college students in design and architecture projects to address social issues in their communities.
